This is the closing weekend of the One Heart One Soul campaign for our faith community, and we are blown away by how generously you've all responded!
As announced by Fr. Markus at Mass last weekend, we've raised $183,000, and we are in the top 3 of our wave! We're making a final push, and we need everyone's help to achieve our goal of $215,000!
Be at Mass this weekend to hear what progress we've made over this past week (and score a handy One Heart One Soul pen)!

Time has been flying! We’re in the home stretch of final assignments, tests, and faith studies! This is the time of year where students are being challenged to take their next step in their relationship with Jesus. These commitments can be difficult, but we know they’re beyond worth it. Please keep the students in your prayers as they are called to give more of themselves to the Lord.

While this picture may not seem that exciting, it's more about what it means, than how it appears. They are prepping the ground for paving! We should be saying goodbye to most of the loose gravel within the next couple of weeks! See more pics on our website of the building progress!

Why do you think that is? Is it how you would have expected to feel? Or were you surprised? Did you work to become closer with Him? Or allow your connection to flounder?

— PARENTING TIP OF THE MONTH —
November is the month in which we both pray for and remember our dead. We also celebrate Remembrance Day, a day we give thanks to all those who have died for our protection and freedom. It is a wonderful month to speak to your children about others who have gone before you. Share the legacy and traditions your ancestors have left for your family and the influence they have had on your lives. Talk to them about how we honour them by our daily actions and remind them to pray for them, not just in the month of November, but all year long. November is a month to discuss our own history, but also the history and traditions of our Catholic faith: All Saints Day, All Souls Day, attending Mass, the prayers we say at Mass, prayers before meals and bedtime, to name a few. Those that have gone before us have influenced us; let us help our children know and reflect on all they have left us.
