  • Rev. Grzegorz Ogorzalek, Phd

    Pastor & Chaplain

    Fr. Gregory (Grzegorz) Ogorzalek, born in Zamość, Poland, grew up in Turobin. With a younger sister and brother, he learned hard work on his family's farm and developed a love for nature. His spiritual awakening during high school youth ministry led him to discern a vocation to the priesthood.

    He was ordained a priest in 2007, and after visiting friends in England and the USA, he was inspired to work in an English-speaking country. He moved to Canada in 2021 and now serves in the Diocese of Hamilton.

    Fr. Gregory enjoys meeting friends, travelling, reading, photography, making videos, movies, running, hiking, and swimming.

  • Sr. Mary McIntyre

    Liturgical and Spiritual Life Coordinator

    Sr. Mary also provides ongoing spiritual direction for Canadian Martyrs Chaplaincy. She can be found in the back pew of the church at all the weekend liturgies and loves to meet and greet members of our faith community.  She is a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Canada who have a long history in the Diocese of Hamilton.

  • jason Greig

    Campus Minister

    Jason lives in Kitchener with his wife and two sons. He spent over 13 years in L'Arche, living with and accompanying people with various abilities. He has taught as a part-time lecturer at King's University College in London, Ontario, bringing Disability Studies in dialogue with theology and bioethics. He entered the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in 1999 and has come more and more to value the traditions, practices, and spirituality of Catholicism. He is excited to begin his role as the campus minister and greatly looks forward to serving with you in God's work of witnessing to the peace and joy of Christ in the world.

  • Dcn. Andrew Roch

    Permanent Deacon

    Born into a large Catholic family, Deacon Roch has strong roots in the community, having spent his whole life in Hamilton. He has worked in Hamilton all of his life, mainly at McMaster University.

    Ordained as a Permanent Deacon in 2008 after attending St. Augustine’s Seminary in Toronto, he has served as a Deacon in the downtown Hamilton core, and his experience there taught him about the value of a strong Parish presence and how it strengthens the Community. We are only as strong as our people’s faith.

    Outside of his Parish duties and work you may find him on his mountain bike on the beautiful Hamilton trails, as he loves nature. He also enjoys reading, watching history programs and being a part-time armchair referee for all things football.

  • Robyn Daly

    Pastoral Minister

    Born and raised in the Hamilton area, Robyn attended McMaster University and now lives in the area with her husband, Mike. 

    She was received into the Catholic Church in 2013 and has been involved with various ministries since. She became a member of Canadian Martyrs parish in 2018 and has helped run faith studies programs and Alpha.  She is excited to continue helping others deepen their faith in her role as Pastoral Minster. 

    Robyn enjoys hiking, rock climbing and anything that gets her outdoors in her spare time.

    Adminstration & Communications Coordinator

    Born and raised in Montreal, Erin earned a degree in English, with a minor in publishing from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. She moved to Hamilton to pursue a career in publishing, and after working in publishing and graphic design in Toronto for almost 20 years, Erin has now been blessed with the opportunity to live and work in Hamilton, which has been a goal of hers for a very long time. She is happily married to her husband Richard, and they have two sons that keep them on their toes, constantly. Erin is always up for karaoke, board, and card games, and feels no shame in that…

  • Divine Dimanaran

    Bookkeeper

    Divine is a dedicated and experienced Accounting Professional from the Philippines. Divine’s additional diploma in Accounting and Payroll from College in Hamilton further enhances her skills and abilities. Outside of her professional role, Divine enjoys spending quality time with her family. She is married and has two wonderful boys.  She, together with her husband, Lowie and her two sons, Luis and Rob, live in Hamilton.  Divine started working in the Parish Office in September 2020 as Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper.

  • Roberto Pegoraro

    Maintenance Coordinator

    Rob worked for over 30 years in the Ontario Government. In recent years he has been employed as a Maintenance Assistant at a farm sanctuary and at a grant writing company. Rob has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus in Oakville, having served as its Grand Knight. Outside the church, he is active outdoors riding his bike, hiking, and skiing and curling during the winter.

    Music Minister

    A father of seven, Tyler works as a freelance musician/producer, private educator, and social media influencer (Mr S. the Catechist) based out of Burlington. His original music has been performed on radio and television across North America, streamed globally hundreds of thousands of times on Youtube, Spotify etc., and his Catholic educational videos have reached over one million views online, inspiring thousands of people all over the world.
