How to Adore
A Time for Connection
When the Blessed Sacrament enters and exits the church, we kneel as a sign of respect. However, during the rest of the time, feel free to assume a position that will allow you to pray and listen. This is your time to bring your heart, your worries, your joys, your hopes — your entire life — before a God who loves you.
Pour your heart out to Jesus, and adore Him
During this time of Adoration with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, have a conversation with Jesus. Spend a few moments talking with Him.
Express your gratitude to Jesus.
Share your most exciting moments.
Confide your worries and concerns.
Open your heart and seek forgiveness.
Reflect on His response to your thoughts.
Seek His guidance for the days ahead.
Offer prayers for those in need.
Share any other thoughts or questions with Jesus.
Pray the Rosary
Invite Mary to join you as you gaze upon Christ in the Monstrance and as you pray the Rosary.
Simply “Be” in His Presence
Consider your visit to the Blessed Sacrament as a meeting with your closest friend. Sit quietly and savour the joy of His company. Instead of speaking to the Lord, try listening to what He wishes to convey to you.
