LITURGICAL MINISTRIES

At Canadian Martyrs, we use an online based scheduling system. You supply us with your availability and your preferred service times and we use that information to create our schedules. You can let us know if you aren’t available for a particular date or time, and we’ll take that into consideration. You can update your availability online, we send automatic email or text message reminders and our schedules update with changes in real time! Lector

Ministers of the Word are needed for each Mass held at Canadian Martyrs. Are you comfortable speaking in public? Able to communicate the Word?

MINISTRY TO THE SICK AND HOMEBOUND

Ministers to the Sick will attend Mass each Sunday morning to collect the Eucharist, and then visit members of our community who are unable to travel to Church due to illness or infirmity.

Minister of Communion

Ministers of Communion assist Fr. Gregory in bestowing the Eucharist to those who request it at Mass.

Altar Server

Great services don’t just happen! There’s a lot going in behind the scenes! Are you able to help with organizing and assisting during Mass? Contact Dcn Andrew 📧 if you’d like to serve or learn more!

Hospitality

Those in the Hospitality Ministry will assist in welcoming new members to Canadian Martyrs, both at Mass and after. Are you warm, outgoing and love to smile? You will be our first point of contact with newcomers to Canadian Martyrs, and you’ll help to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere!
