Divine Mercy Sunday

The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord...
DATES OF NOTE:
April 11: Divine Mercy Sunday
April 17: Memorial of St. Kateri Takakwitha
Sister Mary will be away from the church from Tuesday April 13 to Tuesday April 20 as she joins her congregation for their Congregational Chapter. These gatherings happen every 4-5 years to set direction for the coming years. Please keep her and her Sisters in your prayers as they move through these sessions.
What's that they say, about the best-laid plans...?

Because of the lockdown, the Senior Leadership team wasn’t able to have our full offsite meeting, but we did meet via Zoom for most of the day.  We were able to make great inroads in our plans for the chaplaincy for the summer and into next semester. We also had fruitful discussions for "when COVID is over," and how we can come together again as a community and welcome back those who have had to maintain distance, as well as everyone else who may be brand new to the community! We can also check off our list, planning for implementing our new database system, which is going to be an incredible asset to our ministry.
For those of you who really appreciate the convenience that technology offers, you're gonna love this! And for those of you who prefer everything analog, don't worry, this system is optimized to work for everyone! There are still a few kinks to work out, but it's coming soon!

Bishop’s Commissioning Mass

At today's 11:30 Mass, his Excellency Douglas Crosby OMI will be celebrating a commissioning mass in celebration of our student ministry. This is an important time for us as a community to recognize the integral role that our students play in our faith community. At the Mass, Bishop Crosby will commission next year’s student executive team with a special blessing, and he will bless all graduating students from our community.

This special Mass will be live-streamed so that as many of our faith community as possible can share in this celebration!

RCIA Candidates!

Last week at the Easter vigil we were blessed to receive three individuals into the Church, and be present for the confirmation of a fourth community member. Congratulations to Rachel, Sonya, and Thomas for entering the Church; we welcome you with great joy! Congratulations too to Genevieve on your confirmation! It is a joy and a blessing to live and grow together as Christian brothers and sisters.
