This Sunday, the 2nd Sunday of Advent, we make straight the path, and prepare for the coming of the Lord. If you haven't in a while, make arrangements to come for Confession, and make straight your path...

— WE DID IT!
We’ve hit some incredible milestones in our One Heart One Soul campaign! Not only have we reached our goal of $215,000, and perhaps even exceeded it (stay tuned for Sunday’s Mass announcement), but we are also nearing one of the highest participation rates for all the parishes in the diocese (Just over 50%)!  We are even rivalling other parishes for the most percentage above our minimum goal. Currently, around 215% above, and growing!  Such a sign of encouragement.  We can't wait to finalize pledges over the coming weeks and send thank yous to all those who have given so generously.  Special thanks to our amazing volunteers, and to our One Heart One Soul committee.  What a moment for our community of faith, a milestone we should be very proud of!
Thursday, December 24, Christmas Eve Vigil:  4:00 pm & 6:00 pm
Friday, December 25, Christmas Day Mass: 10:30 am
Saturday, December 26:  No Mass
Sunday, December 27,  Lord’s Day Mass: 9:30 am, 11:30 am & 8:00 pm
December 28–31: No Mass
Friday, January 1,  Mary Mother of God: 11:30 am

Because of current attendance limits, anyone who wishes to attend Christmas services must reserve seating. More details to come on how to make those reservations!
We thank you for your participation in our survey! After taking into consideration the responses, assuming there are no further lock-down directives, we have established the above service schedule.
We've had an update regarding our shipment of Missals. They should be ready for you to pick up Sunday, December 13th! We only have about 10 left, so if you'd like one, be sure to let us know!
Samuel is a baby boy, currently in the NICU at McMaster Hospital that Fr. Markus had the privilege of baptizing soon after he was born. His stay there has been difficult for his parents, who must travel long distances between Hamilton and Caledonia, often separated from their other four children. They are in search of a rental property near the hospital, to reduce the stress and strain of travel. If anyone has a suitable property for rent, or knows of one, please reach out and let us know. Even if you are unaware of rentals, prayers for his health are always appreciated.
If you'd like to stay up-to-date with Samuel's progress, visit his Facebook page: Prayers for Samuel
2,000 years ago, Mary found herself in difficult circumstances as she prepared to give birth to Jesus. Without shelter, and lacking necessities, she responded with grace, even though things were challenging! In honour of our Blessed Mother Mary, let us assist brave women in our own communities who choose life, despite the seemingly insurmountable difficulties they may face. We welcome you to leave gifts for new moms in need on December 13th. We will have boxes set up under the statue of Mary in the church for your donations. May we suggest donations of diapers, wipes, onesies, blankets, small toys and books. Your generous donations will be given to Regina's Place-Good Shepherd and distributed to marginalized and disadvantaged new moms in the Hamilton area.
On Thursday night at Living the Gospel, students had the opportunity to hear the testimonies of fellow students who have decided to invite Jesus to be the centre of their lives and have experience integrating that relationship deeply into the way they live each day. These stories helped the students understand how the commitments they’ve made throughout the semester can actually make a difference in their lives and lead them to greater freedom in God’s love.

We finish classes and head into exams this week! Please pray for us throughout our exam period!

Without fail, at the change of each season, we are gifted beautiful floral arrangements from Lucy (Main West Fortinos)! Thank you for your generous and consistent stewardship!
Cons: obnoxiously loud concrete saws;
Pros: spacious patio area!
Concrete was poured this past week, and we now have curbs and sidewalk areas! It's really taking shape! There are some differences of opinion in the office on how to use that space; some ideas have been, 20-foot Christmas Tree (for future years), cast-iron benches, Muskoka chairs, cedar planters..., what do you think would make the best use of that space??  See more pics on our website of the building progress!
━ Ask Yourself...
You may have to take a quiet minute, but there is surely something God is inviting you to...
