Join the McMaster Catholic Chaplaincy for the 2nd installment of our periodic lecture series titled “Credible Catholicism.”
We invite our whole faith community and beyond, to engage in the intellectual tradition of the Church, and learn more about how the Church relates to our world today.
This summer, we invite you to the first three lectures which will give a broad introduction to the Church’s worldview. Each lecture will provide an overview of the Catholic answers to three questions: “who are we?”, “who is God?”, and “what is the Church?” There will be one lecture each month delivered by guest lecturers:
June 17th: Anthropology – Who are We? (watch recording here)
July 29th: Theology – Who is God? (Watch interactive live stream here)
August 19th: Ecclesiology – What is the Church? (Link to come!)
This lecture series is pitched to Catholics of all ages and backgrounds, so we hope it is useful and instructive to you wherever you are in your journey of faith!
The next instalment of "Credible Catholicism" is on July 29th. We will hear a talk by Fr. Jason Kuntz on the Catholic view of who God is, and what we do when we do theology.
