Student Dinner!

We had an incredible evening filled with delicious food and inspiring conversations at our last Student DInner, and we can't wait to share it with you.

First off, a huge shoutout to the Catholic Women's League (CWL). They outdid themselves in the kitchen, preparing a mouthwatering lasagna dinner that had everyone coming back for seconds. Our taste buds were truly blessed that night, and we're grateful for their culinary talents.

But our student dinner was not just about the food; it was also an opportunity to come together and discuss some important matters. We were fortunate to have Francis Doyle, Vice Chancellor of Temporal Affairs for the Diocese of Hamilton, share his insights on "One Heart, One Soul," a program that encouraged giving and generosity. His presentation was not only informative but also incredibly inspiring. It reminded us of the importance of supporting one another and giving back to our community.

Additionally, we were pleased to have Fr. Mark Morley, the vocations director for the Diocese of Hamilton, join us for this special evening. His presence added an extra layer of significance to our gathering, emphasizing the importance of vocations and the role they play in our faith community

As a chaplaincy, we always strive to foster a sense of community and belonging. Our student dinners are a perfect example of this. They provide a space for students and the #McMasterCatholicChaplaincy family to come together, share a meal, and engage in meaningful conversations.

So, thank you to the CWL, to Francis Doyle, and to all of you who joined us for this fantastic evening. Your presence and support mean the world to us. Keep an eye out for more exciting events at the Saint Kateri University Student Centre, and let's continue to build a stronger, more compassionate community together.
