Work Continues... slow, and with many precautions

To say that it has been a crazy couple of weeks would be a slight understatement! Confined to our homes and isolated from society at large, you might be feeling a little stir crazy, a little like your life—the world— is on hold. While it is extraordinarily important that we stay home, and all do our part to “flatten the curve,” some work is able to go ahead with precautions, such as a limited number of workers and what type of work is being done.

Like all of you, the focus of the last few weeks has been figuring how and what we are going to do now, but now that we’ve gotten THAT out of the way (/sarcasm) we wanted to show you some of the GOOD stuff!

In the last post, we talked about the next phase being the concrete footings. They have made some incredible progress, which you can see in the images below. They’ve also continued to renovate the basement hall. Did you know it used to have windows? And we are getting them back!!

Take a gander at the photos below, and once you’ve done that, take a moment to offer a prayer for the continued safety of the guys on the site. They are working hard in less than ideal conditions!
