Good morning!

Welcome to Week 5 of our Lenten Resources Series.

The 3 main pillars of Lent are fasting, prayer and alms giving. This week we invite you to feast on the joy of almsgiving! Fr. Michael Schmitz shares a wonderful 8 minute reflection on why almsgiving is a joyful experience.

Watch Here

"…when you give alms, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing" (Mt 6:2-3). He does not say IF you give alms, but WHEN. Like fasting and prayer, almsgiving is non-negotiable.”
