Good morning!

Here we are part way through Week 3 of Lent! (Sorry we missed week 2, but we had some technical difficulties!)

How are things going? How is following your Lenten commitments making a difference in your life, in your relationship with others and with God?

St. Ignatius, the founder of the Jesuits, the religious community the Canadian Martyrs belonged to, created a very simple form of daily prayer called the Examen (different from the Examination of Conscience for Confession)to help us get in touch with these realities. Ignatius encouraged the use of this prayer as a way to help us become more aware of the movement of grace, the presence of God in the everyday moments of our lives.

This week we encourage you to ‘feast’ on an age old prayer practice of the Church through learning more about the Examen and try practicing it during Lent as a way of reflecting on your relationships with others and God. Here are 3 resources to get you started!
