First Communion/Coffee Sunday

Last weekend, on April 23, the students from Canadian Martyrs elementary celebrated their First Communion, a significant milestone in their Catholic faith journey. This beautiful occasion marks the first time they received the Eucharist, and confirms their commitment to follow His teachings.

We are incredibly proud of the young students who took this significant step in their faith journey, and honoured by our place in that journey. It is a privilege to witness them grow and mature in their faith and become closer to God.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the CWL for again hosting the Coffee Sunday reception that followed. We appreciate the time and effort they put in to make this event special for our students and their families.

It is essential to come together as a community and support each other in our faith journeys. It is in these moments that we realize how blessed we are to be part of such a vibrant and supportive community. Let us continue to pray for our young students and their families as they continue to grow in their faith and love for God.

Congratulations to the students of Canadian Martyrs elementary on their First Communion, and may God continue to bless them always!
