Commission Mass and Dinner Dance

On Saturday April 15th, over 70 members of the McMaster Catholic Chaplaincy gathered for the end-of-year dinner dance: Founded on Rock! The evening began with the Blessing and Commissioning Mass. New executive members were blessed by Father Greg; we look forward to seeing how the Lord works in and through them in the upcoming school year! Inspired by our Lord’s Great Commission to the apostles, the graduating students were blessed and sent out into the world to live out their missionary identity. After Mass, students enjoyed a night of dinner, dancing, and live performances in the Newman Hall. Throughout the night, students had an opportunity to share their musical talents, as well as share testimonies of how the chaplaincy worked in their life this year. It was also an excellent way to acknowledge and thank the leaders who dedicated themselves to the community. In a year with many challenges and uncertainties, it was a blessing to celebrate all of our community’s accomplishments and dance the night away!
