Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marked the beginning of Lent when we make room for the Lord in our hearts, and allow Him to make us new. Let us enter in this new season of Lent. 

Sit with the Lord and ask Him how you are being made new this Lenten season.

Even now, says the LORD,
            return to me with your whole heart,
            with fasting, and weeping, and mourning;
Rend your hearts, not your garments,
            and return to the LORD, your God.
For gracious and merciful is he,
            slow to anger, rich in kindness,
            and relenting in punishment.
