Choir Loft Reno update!
We have some updates for you on the renovation of the choir loft! Here are some snapshots to give you a taste of what's been happening:
Initial Demolition:
Shortly after the initial demolition began, we captured this image of the choir loft. It might look a bit chaotic, but it is the first step toward the exciting transformation!
Vintage Discovery:
During the renovation, we stumbled upon a vintage cigarette packet and a set of matches. It's a little mystery for our community – does anyone know the era of these items? It's like finding a hidden treasure in the midst of the construction.
Side Chapel Transformation:
Father Gregory has been hard at work re-jigging the side chapel to ensure that we can still have our music ministry even while the choir loft is temporarily out of commission. What CAN'T he do??
Let There Be Light:
In another captivating shot, we see the lightbulbs being changed. This simple yet essential (and difficult) task symbolizes the new light we hope to bring into our space through this renovation.
