Lenten Mission (Day 1)

  • Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church & Chaplaincy 1349 Main Street West Hamilton, ON, L8S 4M7 Canada (map)

The season of Lent is upon us, and it’s a time of reflection and spiritual growth. We invite you to join us for a Lenten Mission, an event focused on exploring how we can support each other and build strong community ties.

Whether you're looking to deepen your faith, connect with others, or simply learn more about what it takes to thrive as a community, the Lenten Mission is an event you won't want to miss. So mark your calendars and join us for this exciting and meaningful event. Together, we'll explore what it means to be part of a thriving community and discover how we can support each other as we navigate life's challenges.

Our guest speaker will be Fr. Paul Patrick, a dynamic and inspiring spiritual leader who has served in Kiev, Ukraine, Toronto, Ontario, Winnipeg Manitoba, and is currently serving as Pastor of St. Gabriel’s Parish in Burlington, Ontario.

Born and raised in Milton, Fr. Patrick received his degree in mechanical engineering before going to seminary to begin his formation as an Oblate of Mary Immaculate. He began his theological studies at the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, TX, and the following year was sent to Rome to study theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He completed his studies in theology and professed his final vows there in 2014.

During his time in Rome and during summer vacations, he was involved in youth ministry in Italy, France and Spain with the local Oblate communities there.

A lover of nature and sports, Fr. Patrick keeps active playing hockey (a member of the Flying Fathers Hockey Club), and enjoys fishing.

We are thrilled to welcome Fr. Paul Patrick to our event, and we know that his message will resonate with all who hear it.

The mission will take place within the context of the daily Mass.
