Finance Council Meeting
The council met this past week, discussing, among other things, the figures that will be published in the upcoming Stewardship Report edition of the Gloria Dei, which should be going out in mid-June.
World Communications Day │May 29
Catholics are invited to reflect upon the media of social communication (film, radio, television, newspapers, audiovisual) and how these influence our lives.
The media can promote values that lead to a more fully human society. The Church's ministry is twofold. The media can be used to help promote the gospel. At the same time, as receivers of the materials presented by the media, the faithful have a duty to support and promote worthwhile presentations and reject those that promote values contrary to spiritual growth.
First Friday│June 4
On the First Friday of each month, Fr. Markus and Sr. Mary will visit those in our faith community who are ill, homebound, or otherwise unable to attend Mass and receive communion. If you or someone you know would benefit from First Friday visits, please contact the office for more information.
