Get up, take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.

IN THIS ISSUE:

We hope that you have had the opportunity for some rest and relaxation this Christmas season! As we head into 2020, we invite you to take this opportunity to leave last year behind, and to move forward into this New Year with renewed hope for peace in our lives, and in our world. We have all likely experienced both joy and pain in the past year, and if we look back, we’ll find that God has been with us, and has been working in our lives, through the good and bad times, even when we don't realise it! Never forget that He has plans for us, to give us hope, and a future!
Be grateful for that which has passed, and filled with joy for what is to come!

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.  Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,… 1 Chronicles 16:11-12
Thank you to everyone who came to help with the decorating of the Church! Many hands made for light work, and we are appreciative of all the hands that were there to help us!
Congratulations to the Knight-Messenger family on the occasion of the baptism of their daughter Marian. May God grant your little one all the blessings of His gentle love and may Marian enjoy a lifetime of health and happiness.
Congratulations to the Castano Family, and to Gerónimo on his reception of the Sacraments of Initiation, Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation! This special day marks the start of a new life in Jesus. May you experience His lasting peace and joy!
To the benefactors of our Faith community, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of our Church and its endeavours. On Friday, January 3, the 12:30 mass will be offered for your intentions.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The Diocese of Hamilton would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Let us all gather together, with our families, friends and communities, to praise the coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ. May God shower blessings upon us all!

"In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him."
1 John 4:9
The word “Catholic” was first used by Ignatius of Antioch, in the "Epistle of Ignatius to the Smyrnaeans," around the year A.D. 110.  "Catholic" comes from the Greek word katholikos, which means “toward the whole.” Ignatius was suggesting that the Church is a gift offered by Christ to all people.
So now you know!
