Weekly Mass

We welcome the students and staff of Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School to our Thursday afternoon Mass every week during the school year. This regular celebration allows us to come together in faith and community, fostering a strong spiritual foundation for the children.

Special Masses

Throughout the year, we host several special Masses for the school community:

• Ash Wednesday Mass: Marking the beginning of Lent, this Mass is a significant moment of reflection and preparation.

• Start and End of School Year Masses: We gather to pray for a successful and fulfilling school year in September, and to give thanks and celebrate achievements in June.

• Easter Mass: Celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, this Mass is a cornerstone of our faith and a time of great joy and renewal

• Advent/Christmas Mass: A joyous celebration anticipating the birth of Christ, filled with festive spirit and hope.

Sacraments

We are privileged to guide the students in receiving important sacraments:

• First Communion and First Reconciliation: Each spring, Grade 2 students prepare for and receive their First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation. This is a pivotal step in their faith journey, and we support them with dedicated preparation and prayer.

Community Events

We warmly invite the students and their families to participate in our parish community events:

• Coffee Sunday: Join us for fellowship and refreshments after Sunday Mass. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families and build a sense of community.

• Special Events and Celebrations: Throughout the year, we host various events that welcome the whole parish, including the school community. Stay tuned for announcements and invitations!

Our ministry extends beyond these events as we strive to be a source of spiritual support and guidance for the entire Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School community. We are here to walk with you in faith!
