Triduum 2025
A few moments from this year’s Triduum at Canadian Martyrs.
Holy Thursday marked the end of Lent and the beginning of the sacred Triduum—the three holiest days in the Church year. We remembered the institution of the Eucharist and the priesthood, sharing in the Last Supper and entering into this most solemn time.
On Good Friday, we fixed our gaze on the Cross. In the reading of the Passion, the Adoration of the Cross, and quiet reflection, we united ourselves with Christ’s suffering—and with all who suffer in our world.
The Easter Vigil on Saturday night was a powerful celebration of light, hope, and new beginnings. From the lighting of the Paschal fire to the baptisms, renewal of promises, and Eucharist, we rejoiced in the Resurrection and welcomed new members into the Church.
And on Easter Sunday, the joy continued—churches filled with light and music, and hearts filled with “Alleluia” once again.
Thank you to everyone who walked with us through these holy days, in prayer and service.
