Walking Toward Hope

On January 21 we had a particularly unique student dinner.  Drawing upon Bishop Lobsinger’s introduction to the Jubilee Year the week previously, we finished dinner early and prayed together in the church to Walk Toward Hope.  Fr. Gregory led us in a beautiful liturgy where we had a chance to reflect upon the places in our lives where we need God’s gift of hope.  We then walked through a gate of hope toward Jesus, taking with us a Jubilee candle to light when we find ourselves losing hope.  It was a great embodiment of the themes and promises of this Jubilee Year of Hope.
