Dinner and the Saint John's Bible
A special thank you to the CWL for leading Student Dinner this week! We were also happy to welcome Brian, docent of the St. John’s Bible!
The St. John’s Bible is a handwritten and illuminated (with gold and silver) Bible commissioned by St. John’s Abbey and University in Minnesota.
It’s a modern manuscript created using medieval techniques that combines art and scripture. The project aimed to create a visually stunning and meaningful Bible for the 21st century.
Some of the art from this Bible can be found in the Student Centre!
