Recap: Special Student Mass with Canadian Martyrs Elementary

Last Thursday, September 21st, we came together to kick off the new academic year with a special Mass dedicated to the students, staff, and faculty of Canadian Martyrs Elementary School. It was a beautiful and spiritually uplifting gathering, and we couldn't be happier to share the experience with you.

The atmosphere was filled with a sense of community (and the pews were filled with students and parishioners) as we welcomed everyone back to school!

Father Gregory delivered an inspiring homily that had everyone's attention. He even brought some fun props to help convey his message! He used headphones to represent the importance of listening to God, our parents, and our teachers.

He also had running shoes as a symbol of being active in helping others and living out our faith.

And let's not forget the water bottle, symbolizing the Holy Spirit. Father Gregory encouraged us to stay spiritually hydrated every day through prayer, sacraments, and acts of kindness.

We had the privilege of enjoying the voices of the talented students who sang for us during the Mass, adding an angelic touch to our worship experience.

Thank you for being a part of our vibrant and welcoming Catholic community!
