Serra Club of Hamilton

Celebration of Priesthood
and Consecrated Life Dinner

On Tuesday, May 2, the Serra Club hosted a special dinner to celebrate the priesthood and consecrated life. The Serra Club is a global organization that was founded in 1935 with a mission to foster and promote vocations to the priesthood and religious life, and to support those who have answered the call to serve God in this way.

The event was a significant occasion for members of our chaplaincy who were able to attend. It provided an opportunity to honour and recognize the hard work and dedication of those who have answered the call to serve in the priesthood or as consecrated individuals.

Throughout the evening, guests were treated to a delicious dinner and a series of inspiring vocational stories from the Jubilarians and Ordinandi. It was a joyous and uplifting event, full of heartfelt appreciation for the sacrifices and contributions made by those in the priesthood and consecrated life.

The event also served as a reminder of the importance of supporting and promoting vocations in our community. The Serra Club plays an essential role in this regard, providing resources, mentorship, and encouragement to those considering a religious vocation.

The dinner was a wonderful tribute and a testament to the power of community support and encouragement. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to attend this event and to honour those who have dedicated their lives to serving God and the Church.
