Gracias Esperanza! A Colombian Student Dinner

Our most recent student dinner was a heartwarming journey into the heart of Colombian cuisine. Valentina, assisted by her mom, Esperanza, treated us to an evening filled with love, laughter, and the rich flavors of Colombia!

The aroma of authentic Colombian spices filled the air as Valentina and her mom crafted a menu that showcased the best of Colombian cuisine. The star of the night? A steaming bowl of Ajiaco, a traditional Colombian chicken soup that warmed our souls and brought a taste of home to our community.

But the feast didn't stop there! The enticing scent of Arroz con Leche, a creamy and comforting rice pudding seasoned with a hint of pumpkin spice, filled the air. This delightful dessert was the perfect finale to an evening of shared traditions and new memories.

Gratitude and Community

As we gather around the table, we're reminded of the strength of our community and the joy that comes from breaking bread together. A heartfelt thank you to Valentina and her mom for sharing not only their culinary talents but also a piece of their culture with us.

Stay tuned for more exciting events, delicious dinners, and heartfelt moments at the Saint Kateri University Student Centre. Until next time, McMaster Catholics, stay blessed! ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ™Œ
