We did it! 🎉 Our 60th Anniversary celebration was an incredible journey through the history of Canadian Martyrs Church, and we couldn't be happier with the amazing turnout. It was a day filled with warmth, nostalgia, and a deep sense of gratitude for the past six decades of faith and community. A special shoutout goes to the Catholic Women's League (CWL) for their outstanding dedication and hard work in hosting the Coffee Sunday that followed our anniversary celebration. And members of our faith community for contributing baked goods! The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, delicious treats, and warm conversations filled the air as we gathered in the spirit of fellowship. The CWL's commitment to our community is truly remarkable, and we are deeply thankful for their unwavering support.

A Journey Through Time: The Slideshow

One of the highlights of our 60th Anniversary celebration was the captivating slideshow that took us on a journey through the history of our beloved Canadian Martyrs Church. From the early days when the foundation was laid in 1949 to the final dedication on September 22, 1963, we relived the moments that shaped our community. The images from the '80s and '90s brought back memories of cherished events, and we marveled at the recent renovation — the Cornerstone Project — that was completed in 2021.

As we watched those images flicker across the screen, it was a reminder that we are part of something much larger than ourselves. Our church's history is a testament to the dedication, love, and faith of all those who have been part of our community over the years.
